Gourmet holidays at the Hotel Hubertus

At the Hotel Hubertus, your day starts with a hearty breakfast. The fact that you always have views of the imposing protectors of the Bregenzerwald, the mountains with such wonderful names as Üntschenspitze or Diedamskopf, makes the start to the day even more beautiful. In summer, the terrace becomes a great place for a morning cappuccino. As soon as it gets colder outside, dishes are served in the cosy, light-suffused restaurant.

Cake and strudel cannot fail to sweeten the afternoon: it is worth getting back to the hotel in time for an afternoon snack or taking a break from your relaxation for it. In the evening, a meal of several courses awaits guests that Hubert Simma and his team prepare with plenty of creativity and the best the region has to offer.

The bar

The bar and lounge are great meeting places at Hubertus. You can enjoy a good glass of wine there – from the hotel's own wine cellar, of course! – as you exchange philosophies on the wonderful life. Perhaps you’d like to sit by the roaring fireplace after a delightful dinner?

Wine cellar

A piece of the heart of the Hubertus is hidden from view in the cellar. Here, in the newly developed wine cellar, many fine wines personally selected by our service manager Alexandra are stored. The rarities from the family Vorsäß fit perfectly into the extraordinary ambience: the table, made of sunburnt wood, and the large kettle in which cheese was once produced.

By the way: The Vorsäß is part of the famous three-stage agricultural system in the Bregenzerwald, which has even been named as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. The Vorsäß settlements are where the farmers and their families spend time before and after taking to the Alpine pastures.
